The rule of thumb for deciding how many desserts to order is 2-3 pieces per guest.
WEDDINGS: Best case scenario, I would like them to be scheduled 6 months prior to the event. This is to hold the date for you. If your wedding is within 6 months, please call for availability. Final numbers will be due closer to the date. Please see Catering Charge Schedule for tasting fee, deposit and final numbers count information.
Graduation parties need to be scheduled 2 months prior to the date of the event. This is to hold the date for you. Final numbers will be due closer to the date.
I don't believe in charging for delivery* if you are on my way home (Champlin) from the kitchen (Falcon Heights), since I am going home anyway. If you are outside of that area, there is a delivery charge of $0.75 per mile. Minimum of $5.
*Effective 8/1/2018: If your order requires a refrigerated truck (wholesalers, large orders), there is $40 delivery fee, no matter where the delivery is.
Catering Charge Schedule
There is a service charge of $20.00 per hour from our door to completion of set up. This includes delivery and set up , if you are outside the delivery area. The service charge for those inside the delivery, the service charge starts when we arrive at the venue.
Tasting fee: There is a $25 tasting fee. This is due at the time of booking the tasting and is non-refundable. If you contract with Tasty Treats and Fancy Sweets for your event, this will be credited to your account. If you do not, it is not refundable.
There is a 25% deposit for all events. This is due at the time of scheduling to secure the date. If for any reason your event is cancelled, limited refunds apply.
For WEDDINGS: Your entire deposit will be refunded if the event is cancelled prior to 90 days of the event. 50% of the deposit will be refunded if the event is cancelled between 60 and 90 days prior to the event. There will be no refund if the event is cancelled within 60 days of the event. Final counts and remaining balance is due 1 calendar week prior to the event.
For GRADUATION PARTIES/OTHER EVENTS: Your entire deposit will be refunded if the event is cancelled 45-60 days prior to the event. 50% of your deposit will be refunded if the event is cancelled 30-45 days prior to the event. There will be no refund if the event is cancelled within 30 days of the event. Final counts are due 1 calendar week prior to the event. Final payment is due 1 calendar week prior to event date. We recommend you obtain platters and tiers from your caterer. If you need to use our platters and tiers, we do not charge for these, however, there is a $150.00 deposit, refundable after all platters are returned in the same condition as when you received them. Platters need to be returned within 7 days after the event. If any platters are missing or damaged, the replacement cost will be subtracted from the deposit.
